What pages does Charter include?

Every theme includes a home page, product and category pages, a cart, search results and a blog, plus the header and footer that tie them together. Some themes add pages of their own too, such as a menu, a services page or an FAQ, which you can see on Charter's own demo before you buy.

Can I see Charter running before I buy it?

Yes. Charter has its own demo shop, linked from this page, so you can click through its home page, a product and the cart before you decide.

Can I change the colours and fonts in Charter?

Yes. Set colours, fonts and button styles once in the page builder and every page of Charter follows, with the option to pick from the Google Fonts library or upload your own.

Will Charter work on phones and tablets?

Yes. Charter's pages are responsive on phones and tablets by default, and most settings can be set differently on each, so you can adjust or hide a block on smaller screens.

Do I get updates to Charter?

Yes. When a new version of Charter is published, you can update to it from your dashboard for free. Updating resets the theme's own settings to the new version's defaults, so note any you have changed first.

Is Charter a one-off purchase, or is there a subscription?

There is no subscription for Charter itself. It is either free to install or a one-off charge shown in the store before you buy, and there is no recurring fee either way.

What Charter does well

Monthly and annual prices
A package table switches between monthly and annual billing, with a comparison of what each includes.
Bookable consultations
Consultation pages show live availability, so clients can pick a time and pay online.
Templates and key dates
A library of guides and spreadsheets sits beside a key dates page for the tax year.

Suits a professional services firm that sells fixed-fee packages, consultations and downloadable templates.

Pages

A theme is a whole shop, not just a home page. Open any page with an address in the live demo.

Colours and type

Charter sets its colours, fonts and buttons once, in style settings, and every page follows. Change them there and the whole shop changes with them.
