What pages does Fern include?

Every theme includes a home page, product and category pages, a cart, search results and a blog, plus the header and footer that tie them together. Some themes add pages of their own too, such as a menu, a services page or an FAQ, which you can see on Fern's own demo before you buy.

Can I see Fern running before I buy it?

Yes. Fern has its own demo shop, linked from this page, so you can click through its home page, a product and the cart before you decide.

Can I change the colours and fonts in Fern?

Yes. Set colours, fonts and button styles once in the page builder and every page of Fern follows, with the option to pick from the Google Fonts library or upload your own.

Will Fern work on phones and tablets?

Yes. Fern's pages are responsive on phones and tablets by default, and most settings can be set differently on each, so you can adjust or hide a block on smaller screens.

Do I get updates to Fern?

Yes. When a new version of Fern is published, you can update to it from your dashboard for free. Updating resets the theme's own settings to the new version's defaults, so note any you have changed first.

Is Fern a one-off purchase, or is there a subscription?

There is no subscription for Fern itself. It is either free to install or a one-off charge shown in the store before you buy, and there is no recurring fee either way.

What Fern does well

Leaf-shaped image corners
Soft leaf-shaped corners and a linen canvas give every plant and pot an organic frame.
Shop by light and care
Light level, care level and a pet-safe edit each get their own route from the home page.
Care cards and workshops
Product pages carry a care-at-a-glance card, and the shop runs potting workshops.

Suits a plant shop or nursery that wants to help customers choose by light, care level and pet safety.

Pages

A theme is a whole shop, not just a home page. Open any page with an address in the live demo.

Colours and type

Fern sets its colours, fonts and buttons once, in style settings, and every page follows. Change them there and the whole shop changes with them.
