What pages does Index include?

Every theme includes a home page, product and category pages, a cart, search results and a blog, plus the header and footer that tie them together. Some themes add pages of their own too, such as a menu, a services page or an FAQ, which you can see on Index's own demo before you buy.

Can I see Index running before I buy it?

Yes. Index has its own demo shop, linked from this page, so you can click through its home page, a product and the cart before you decide.

Can I change the colours and fonts in Index?

Yes. Set colours, fonts and button styles once in the page builder and every page of Index follows, with the option to pick from the Google Fonts library or upload your own.

Will Index work on phones and tablets?

Yes. Index's pages are responsive on phones and tablets by default, and most settings can be set differently on each, so you can adjust or hide a block on smaller screens.

Do I get updates to Index?

Yes. When a new version of Index is published, you can update to it from your dashboard for free. Updating resets the theme's own settings to the new version's defaults, so note any you have changed first.

Is Index a one-off purchase, or is there a subscription?

There is no subscription for Index itself. It is either free to install or a one-off charge shown in the store before you buy, and there is no recurring fee either way.

What Index does well

Department mega menu
A mega menu breaks the catalogue into departments, so shoppers reach any range in two clicks.
Search the catalogue call to action
A search the catalogue button sits next to browse departments, right in the hero.
Category tiles by department
Each department tile shows how many categories sit inside it, so the range is clear before clicking in.

Suits an office furniture retailer whose catalogue is too big for browsing alone and needs search to lead.

Pages

A theme is a whole shop, not just a home page. Open any page with an address in the live demo.

Colours and type

Index sets its colours, fonts and buttons once, in style settings, and every page follows. Change them there and the whole shop changes with them.
