What pages does Crate include?

Every theme includes a home page, product and category pages, a cart, search results and a blog, plus the header and footer that tie them together. Some themes add pages of their own too, such as a menu, a services page or an FAQ, which you can see on Crate's own demo before you buy.

Can I see Crate running before I buy it?

Yes. Crate has its own demo shop, linked from this page, so you can click through its home page, a product and the cart before you decide.

Can I change the colours and fonts in Crate?

Yes. Set colours, fonts and button styles once in the page builder and every page of Crate follows, with the option to pick from the Google Fonts library or upload your own.

Will Crate work on phones and tablets?

Yes. Crate's pages are responsive on phones and tablets by default, and most settings can be set differently on each, so you can adjust or hide a block on smaller screens.

Do I get updates to Crate?

Yes. When a new version of Crate is published, you can update to it from your dashboard for free. Updating resets the theme's own settings to the new version's defaults, so note any you have changed first.

Is Crate a one-off purchase, or is there a subscription?

There is no subscription for Crate itself. It is either free to install or a one-off charge shown in the store before you buy, and there is no recurring fee either way.

What Crate does well

New releases wall
A dense new releases wall opens the home page beneath a split hero and riso-pink marquee.
Pre-orders with release dates
Pre-orders show typed release dates and ship for release day, with a record of the week beside them.
Staff picks and record care
Staff picks, turntables and record care sit alongside in-store sessions and the shop journal.

Suits a record shop that wants new releases, staff picks and pre-orders to feel like a gig poster.

Pages

A theme is a whole shop, not just a home page. Open any page with an address in the live demo.

Colours and type

Crate sets its colours, fonts and buttons once, in style settings, and every page follows. Change them there and the whole shop changes with them.
