What pages does Steep include?

Every theme includes a home page, product and category pages, a cart, search results and a blog, plus the header and footer that tie them together. Some themes add pages of their own too, such as a menu, a services page or an FAQ, which you can see on Steep's own demo before you buy.

Can I see Steep running before I buy it?

Yes. Steep has its own demo shop, linked from this page, so you can click through its home page, a product and the cart before you decide.

Can I change the colours and fonts in Steep?

Yes. Set colours, fonts and button styles once in the page builder and every page of Steep follows, with the option to pick from the Google Fonts library or upload your own.

Will Steep work on phones and tablets?

Yes. Steep's pages are responsive on phones and tablets by default, and most settings can be set differently on each, so you can adjust or hide a block on smaller screens.

Do I get updates to Steep?

Yes. When a new version of Steep is published, you can update to it from your dashboard for free. Updating resets the theme's own settings to the new version's defaults, so note any you have changed first.

Is Steep a one-off purchase, or is there a subscription?

There is no subscription for Steep itself. It is either free to install or a one-off charge shown in the store before you buy, and there is no recurring fee either way.

What Steep does well

Shop by tea type
Black, green, oolong, herbal and other teas each get a route from the home page.
Brew card on every product
Water temperature, leaf and time sit in a brew card built from product details.
Grower stories
Grower stories and a harvest table sit beside gift sets and the tasting counter.

Suits a loose-leaf tea merchant that wants origin stories, tasting notes and brewing detail to lead.

Pages

A theme is a whole shop, not just a home page. Open any page with an address in the live demo.

Colours and type

Steep sets its colours, fonts and buttons once, in style settings, and every page follows. Change them there and the whole shop changes with them.
